Six bottles of Robert Fanucci’s favorites. Includes one bottle of each:

2018 Guido Ragghianti Old World Field Blend
75% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from 4 different vineyards in the Napa Valley, consisting of the Frank Leeds Vineyard in Rutherford, certified organically grown, Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon grown high above St. Helena and on Zinfandel Lane and the dynamic Coombsville Appellation Cabernet along with 25% organically grown Petit Verdot from the Rutherford Dalla Gasperina Vineyard and the Papina Vineyard in St. Helena. A total of six different vineyards contribute to this mosaic masterpiece. A huge wine - deep, dark, concentrated, dense and decadent with seductive liquor flavors of backed blackberry, hints of black cherry, dark chocolate mocha, tobacco and swirls of wild berry flavors. Pairs nicely with grilled and roasted meats and hearty Italian pasta dishes. Only 12 barrels produced and ready to drink. One of my favorites.

2019 Napa Valley Old Vine Petite Sirah
The 2019 Petite Sirah is a powerhouse but with firm but softening tannins on the back palate uncommon among Petite Sirah’s produced today. Dark blackberry with strong dark chocolate espresso mocha finish. Will age gracefully over the next 10 to 15 years and will evolve nicely in the bottle with additional bottle age. 85% Old Vine Petite Sirah from the century old historic David Fulton Vineyard in St. Helena acquired in 1861 by David Fulton along with 15% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the same vineyard. Only 175 cases produced.

2018 Matilda Ragghianti Nonnie's Red Blend
The 2018 Matilda is a distinctive and richly layered blend of five different grape varietals consisting of Stag’s Leap Cabernet Sauvignon, Old Vine Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Old Vine Zinfandel. Enormous wine, dark, inky, full throttle and in your face. Powerful and explosive blackberry and exotic fruit flavors, baked spice and dark ripe plum that swirl and lingers in your mouth. Hints of expresso, black tea and licorice. Incredibly smooth and silky for a blockbuster wine that is Out of This World. Crack open a bottle for the holidays and see for yourself. The Matilda continues to mature and soften with age. Matilda was 100 years old when she died in 1999. Only 10 barrels produced.

2021 Zinfandel Mind TZM
Sourced from our Charter Oak Estate Zinfandel vineyard. The estate Zinfandel is interplanted with a field blend of Petite Sirah, Carignane and Refosco. All of the blended varietals are reminiscent of Zinfandel vineyards planted in the 19th century. This year we added 100+ year old vine Zinfandel from a one acre vineyard we farm in St. Helena just rows away from the Charter Oak Winery and Vineyard. Dark and bold but showcasing strong hints of blackberry, exotic Bing black cherry liquor, boysenberry reduction, and raspberry-backed pie notes. A huge wine of grace and an elegant lingering finish. This wine will do a dance on your tongue and encompasses a rainbow of wild fruit flavors. Featuring International Artist and winemaker’s wife Layla Fanucci’s artwork. Only six barrels produced for a total of 150 cases.

2016 Guido Ragghianti Old World Field Blend
A majestic and royal blend of uncommon proportions reaching a new dimension, and hitting a flavor note an octave higher than any other previous vintage of the Guido. Deep, dark and decadent with seductive liquor flavors of blackberry, blueberry, black cherry and swirls of wild berry flavors but elegant on the palate. Extremely well balanced and integrated fruit flavors. The 2016 Guido is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot from the Dalla Gasperina and Frank Leeds Vineyards in Rutherford and Old Vine Petite Sirah from the historic David Fulton Vineyard in St. Helena along with a splash of Cabernet Franc. Pairs nicely with grilled and roasted meats and hearty Italian pasta dishes. Continues to age gracefully in the bottle. Limited availability.

2017 Uncle George Cabernet Sauvignon
The old world and new world collide to produce this exceptional wine. The fruit sourced for the 2017 Uncle George Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Rutherford Bench and St. Helena hillside. Dark intense chocolate espresso, dried cocoa powder with swirls of crushed blueberry, ripe Bing cherry, dark aromas, dark plum, raspberry-scented flavors, solid core, muscular and powerful finish. A masterful blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot, and 5% Cabernet Franc from St. Helena and Rutherford. Only four barrels (100 cases) produced.
