The old world and new world collide to produce this exceptional wine. The fruit sourced for the inaugural bottling of the Uncle George Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a small one-acre Stag’s Leap Hillside Vineyard, farmed and manicured by Giovanni Olivieri whose family were early Italian immigrants to the Napa Valley.

2017 and 2019 Uncle George Cabernet Sauvignon
The old world and new world collide to produce this exceptional wine. The fruit for the 2017 and 2019 Uncle George Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the Rutherford Bench and Saint Helena hillside. Dark intense chocolate espresso, dried cocoa powder with swirls of crushed blueberry, ripe Bing cherry, dark aromas, dark plum, raspberry-scented flavors, solid core, muscular and powerful finish. A masterful blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot, and 5% Cabernet Franc from Saint Helena and Rutherford. Only four barrels (100 cases) of each wine produced.
2018 Uncle George Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2018 Uncle George is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Oakville Bench in Napa. Dark majestic in color, deep purple, heavy metal and of noble and royal character. Oozing with black cherry, dark red rose pedal, and swirls of raspberry scented chocolate mousse. Following a lovely sweet, soft entry, flavors on the palate suggest a very solid core of black currant, ripe red cherry pie, and black licorice, with dark red fruit liquor overtones. A lingering smooth, silky and satin finish is highlighted by an orchestra of exotic fruit flavors. Artistry in a bottle. The painting on the front label is George, St. Helena and international Artist Layla Fanucci's Uncle whose family owns a winery in the South of France. Layla’s rich, colorful works are available for viewing at www.laylafanucci.com. Only four barrels (100 cases) produced.
