The 2023 Matilda consists of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc, 20% Petit Verdot, along with 10% Petite Sirah and a splash or two of Malbec and Merlot. Smooth, silky with a long lingering satin finish. Well integrated, juicy fruit forward majestic six varietal blend. A mosaic of exotic, but soft explosive, intoxicating blackberry, raspberry, baked pie, cherry and boysenberry liquor flavors. Very mellow, royal, satin and silk finish. Ready to drink tonight. Only 175 cases produced.
