The 2021 Matilda is a distinctive and richly layered blend of six different grape varietals consisting of two barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Malbec and touch of Petit Sirah all from our Charter Oak Estate Vineyard along with a single barrel of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon from our vineyard farmed on West Zinfandel Lane.
A mosaic of exotic and intoxicating mouthwatering flavors. Muscular, yet elegant. Powerful and explosive blackberry, cherry and boysenberry exotic flavors, baked spice and dark ripe plum that swirls and lingers in your mouth. Hints of expresso, black tea and black and red licorice. Incredibly smooth and silky for a blockbuster wine that is Out of This World. The Matilda will continue to mature with bottle age. Only four barrels produced for a total of 100 cases.
